Badaling Great Wall

There are many "mosts" about this section of the Great Wall of China: Most famous, most visited, most well restored, most crowded and most touristy. The views here are spectacular and it takes only about an hour to get here from downtown Beijing. However, if you have more time and feel adventurous you should consider visiting the Simatai Great Wall instead - you will get a much more authentic and less crowded Great Wall experience.
