Qibao Ancient Town  ·  七宝古镇

This quaint little thousand year old town is only about about 20 kilometers from the Shanghai city center and is accessible by subway. There's a lot to see and do here: sights include bridges and water-front buildings lining the two rivers that criss-cross Qibao, or the ancient Qibao Temple that embodies architectural styles from the Ming, Tang and Han dynasties.
