Water Cube - National Aquatics Centre  ·  水立坊

Another structure in Beijing that looks out of this world - it is covered with plastic ETFE "pillows" that resemble soap bubbles. The National Aquatics Center will host swimming and diving events during the 2008 Summer Olympics. Visit at night when the LED lighting system turns this cube into a shimmering kaleidoscope of colors.
