Zhan Qiao Pier  ·  栈桥

Built in 1891, this pier and the iconic octogonal pavilion at the end of it are recognized all over the world on bottles of Tsingtao beer. Although the pavilion is usually crammed with tourists, food, drink and souvenir vendors, it is an easy walk from the downtown area and offers decent views of the city and the sea.
