Zhujiajiao
· 朱家角古镇
An ancient (formed about 1,700 years old) water township that some call the "Venice of Shanghai". 36 unique wood and stone bridges connect this town that has numerous rivers running through it. There is plenty of Ming and Qing dynasty style architecture in Zhu Jia Jiao as the town was a commercial center and expanded rapidly during those periods.
